Hello!

My name is Mikko Heiskanen. I’m an animation artist from Helsinki, Finland.

As a young kid, I found great joy in drawing and crafting comics. I later started to watch movies with a keen eye which I also started to imitate. I experimented with 3D softwares and early game creation engines. I was then, and I still am passionate about telling stories.

I started learning 3D graphics and animation in 2011 at Metropolia University of Applied Sciences. Later I’ve broadened my animation knowledge further in Aalto University studying a Master’s Degree in Animation! Nowadays I’m an ambitious animation artist constantly looking for bigger projects and boots to hop into.
